I prefer to manage most of my patient's issues without referring out to multiple other doctors. My greatest joy comes from explaining to patients and their families how medical management can both extend and improve the quality of their lives. I take pride in keeping my patients out of the hospital though that is where most of us meet. I also believe that the greatest complement a physician can receive is being recommended to a friend or family member and entrusted with their care.
