Dr. Costello is certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery, the National Board of Medical Examiners, and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. He received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Connecticut Health Center in 1982 and completed his residency in Orthopedic Surgery from the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester, MA in 1987. He has been Chief of Surgery at Huggins Hospital several times and President of the Medical Staff.
