G. Steven Acres, M.D., graduated from the Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis. He went on to residency and nephrology fellowship at the University of Texas, Southwestern, in Dallas. Dr. Acres has been practicing nephrology in Greenville since the 1980s. He is medical director of the Acute Dialysis Unit at Greenville Memorial Hospital, and the Easley Dialysis Unit. He has two grown children and lives in Easley.
