Dr. Leask is a native of Boksburg, South Africa. He is a graduate of Christian Brother's College, located in Pretoria, South Africa, where he was valedictorian of his class. He received his medical degree from the University of Witwatersrand Medical School in Johannesburg. Dr. Leask completed a Medical/Surgical Internship and Internal Medicine Residency in Internal Medicine at the Johannesburg General Hospital, in South Africa. He also completed an Internal Medicine Residency and Cardiology Fellowship at Maine Medical Center, located in Portland, Maine. Dr. Leask is board certified in Cardiovascular Disease and is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. He is also a member of the South Carolina Medical Association. Dr. Leask practices primarily out of the Loris and Little River Offices. Dr. Leask resides in Myrtle Beach with his wife, Alyce, and children: Catherine, Julianne, Ashton, and Madison.
