Brief Intro

Dr. Chung specializes in cataract and refractive surgery. He has completed a subspecialty fellowship in Cornea and Refractive Surgery at the University of Minnesota. Prior to this, he received his residency training in ophthalmology at the University of Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary in Chicago where he served as Chief Resident in his final year. Dr. Chung is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and has participated in a number of research studies with several publications in ophthalmologic journals. He recently authored a chapter in Cornea, the most widely used textbook for corneal disorders. Dr. Chung is certified for the Implantable Collamer Lens (ICL) procedure and LASIK. Dr. Chung combines his expertise and training with a deep commitment to patient care.
