Frank Westmeyer, MD is board-certified in internal medicine and in emergency medicine. Dr. Westmeyer received his undergraduate degree from Carnegie-Mellon University in Pittsburgh, and earned his medical degree from the St. Louis University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri. He served his internship and completed a residency at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Westmeyer served in the United States Navy as a member of the Medical Corps. , he directed emergency medical services for a local hospital. Prior to joining Bon Secours, he was in private practice, providing primary and urgent care. Dr. Westmeyer is a Designated Civil Surgeon for the US Immigration and Naturalization Service, as such he performs the required immigration physicals and examinations (I-693 Exam) for individuals applying for citizenship, seeking permanent Residency, or applying for a Green Card in Hampton Roads. These exams are necessary for immigrants or employers who hire employees originating from another country. Each evaluation includes an examination performed according to the medical guidelines established by the Department of Homeland Security and U.S. Citizen and Immigration Services and Centers for Disease Control.
