Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:I saw a career in medicine as a unique commitment to put service to others first. My Catholic faith and Catholic education gave me a strong foundation. The Jesuit principles were instilled in me at Boston College and Georgetown Medical School. Magis meaning ""more"" is the challenge to strive for excellence. Cura Personalis is ""Care for the individual person"" and Ad Majorem Dei Glorium is for the Greater Glory of God.What I want my patients to know about me:I will always treat you as I would treat my family. Orthopaedics and spine surgery can seem complicated but even the most complicated issue should be explained in a way that is well understood. I will always take as much time as is needed until all your questions are answered. What I do when I'm not seeing patients:I spend time with my wife and family. My six children are graduating college , getting married and moving across the country. Thankfully my one grandchild lives close and I get to watch him grow up.
