Dr. Farrokh Erfan, DDS, MS Dr. Erfan has been in private practice for over 35 years as a general dentist specializing in pediatric dentistry. He received his degree in pediatric dentistry from the University of Nebraska in Lincoln in 1977, followed by a Master's degree in Dental Science in 1978. He has had extensive experience both teaching at the University of Maryland and Mashad University in Iran, and as a researcher. He is the winner of the Clinical Research Award of the American Academy of Pedodontics in the area of restorative dentistry, and the Graduate Student Research Award of the American Academy of Pedodontics. Dr. Erfan is a lifetime member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and a member of the American Society for Dentistry for Children, the American Dental Association, the Maryland Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and the Washington Iranian Dental Club. He is a licensed dentist in Maryland, Virginia, the District of Columbia, and California and he has dedicated his life to providing quality dental care for all of his patients. Dr. Erfan considers himself to be one of the few blessed people in the world who absolutely love their profession and feels extremely lucky for the opportunity to work with his patients every day.
