I am a board-certified academic dermatologist— a physician who specializes in the diagnosis and management of skin disease. In addition to seeing patients, I analyze skin samples microscopically to determine skin diagnoses in my role as Director of Dermatopathology. My research and clinical interests include melanoma, cutaneous lymphoma, nonmelanoma skin cancer, psoriasis, and eczema. I am also interested in multidisciplinary clinical efforts to treat dermatological diseases that have accompanying serious systemic ramifications.
I obtained a Bachelor of Science in biochemistry as well as a Master of Science in chemistry at the University of Pennsylvania. After finishing medical school at the Yale School of Medicine, I pursued dermatology residency at the University of Miami. Following my training in Miami, I completed a dermatopathology fellowship through the Harvard Combined Dermatopathology Fellowship Program, where I received training at Massachusetts General Hospital, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital.
Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, playing tennis, and traveling.
