Dr. Bruneau completed her General Surgery Residency at Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine, where she served as Chief Resident and Medical Student Liaison. She holds a Medical Doctor of Osteopathy degree from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine and has a diverse educational background, including a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Biology from Barnard College of Columbia University.
With a career spanning over a decade, Dr. Bruneau has held various roles, including General Surgeon at Northern Navajo Medical Center, Teaching Assistant in Neurology and Neuro-anatomy, Medical Illustrator, and Anatomy Dissector. Her extensive experience in both clinical and educational settings underscores her commitment to advancing medical knowledge and patient care.
Dr. Bruneau has also contributed to the medical community through her publications and presentations, including work on bariatric surgery, traumatic diaphragmatic hernia repair, and complications of prehospital needle decompression for tension pneumothorax. She is a member of the American Osteopathic Association and the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons, and she is board-certified by the ACOS.
