NCMC is the clinical campus of SUNY in Stonybook, New York. He joined the Psychiatric Associates of Port St. Lucie in 1986 and was recruited to the Peace River Center in Bartow, FL in 1988.Dr. Badiola is currently in private psychiatric practice accepting most major insurance as well as self-pay patients. He has always been on the cutting edge of psychotherapy, medication management, and modern technology. This cutting-edge mentality caused Dr. Badiola to open the Brain Chemistry Center in Lakeland, Florida in 1990, where he has been at the forefront of new pharmaceuticals and technologies used in the treatment of various behavioral health conditions. In addition, Dr. Badiola has also written a book on sleep apnea entitled, "You Snooze, You Lose You Snore, You Could Die", first published in 2011.Dr. Badiola has been following TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) research for quite some time and is now offering this cutting-edge treatment for depression to the people of Lakeland and surrounding areas. TMS uses an MRI-strength magnet to stimulate parts of the brain thought to control mood that is known to be underactive in people suffering from depression.
