Eric G. Morton, D.O. earned a Bachelor of Science from California State University in 1989 followed by his completion of medical school at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1995. He completed his residency in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 2000 before moving to Cape Girardeau as a medical student. During rotation with Dr. Pringle, he had the opportunity to deliver a baby and knew immediately he wanted to specialize in obstetrics and gynecology. He admits, "I honestly cried at the miracle I was part of that day. I was ten feet off the ground." Dr. Pringle extended an informal job offer to him upon completion of medical school, which he acted on by joining the practice in 2000. Dr. Morton is Board Certified and a member of the American Osteopathic Association. Dr. Morton commented, My patients trust me with some of the most intimate parts of their lives. That is both an honor and a privilege. Dr. Morton and his wife, Kelly, have two children.
