Dr. Freedman received her medical degree from the University of Buffalo in 1975. She completed her pediatric residency training/chief residency at the Albany Medical Center in 1978. In 1982 she attained board certification from the America Board of Pediatrics. For 21 years she practiced pediatric medicine with Kaiser Health Plan. She fulfilled a lifelong dream of establishing her own practice when she opened South Windsor Pediatrics in January 2001. She is married and lives in South Windsor with her two children, a daughter and a son. She states, "My children have certainly helped me to be a better pediatrician."
