Dr. Ehsan Chitsaz, MD, brings a wealth of experience toTriHealth. He served as Clinical Assistant Professor at CaseWestern Reserve University (CWRU) School of Medicine inCleveland prior to joining TriHealth. Dr. Chitsaz completedhis residency at Boston University Medical Center, did apostdoctoral fellowship at Yale University. He finished agastroenterology fellowship at the National Institutes ofHealth (NIH) and the University of Maryland in Baltimore, MD.As a board-certified gastroenterologist, Dr. Chitsazsees patients for cancer screening and a variety ofgastrointestinal and liver diseases. He believes thatsuccessful clinical care starts with making a precisediagnosis, and he finds it rewarding to listen to his patients'stories carefully. Dr. Chitsaz's philosophy in his practice isbased on a systematic approach and in a step-wise manner.Originally Persian-Canadian, Dr. Chitsaz chose to relocateto Cincinnati for the friendly people, strong communitiesand family values. He is a scientific peer reviewer for TheJournal of Gastroenterology and American Journal ofGastroenterology, two of the top tier peer-reviewed journalsin the field of gastroenterology.
