Dr. Hong is a native of Sparks. She graduated from UNR in 1989 with a Bachelor degree in Science. In 1993, she graduated from University of Washington in Seattle for her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. She also speaks Vietnamese, Cantonese and Mandarin. She has been an active member of American Dental Association, Nevada Dental Society, Northern Nevada Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, University of Washington - Dental Alumni, and University of Nevada - Reno Alumni.
