It is very important to me that before a patient makes a decision as important as going to surgery that he or she truly understand the operation as well as the risks of the procedure. I take the time with all of my patients to explain what will be happening in the operation as well as how that will affect the patient afterward. I also feel it is vital that my patients feel like they can get in touch with me when they need me, whatever the time of day.
