Douglas J. Muller, D.D.S. Credentials Dr. Muller has been Board Certified in Pediatric Dentistry since 1998. He received his Pediatric Dental Specialty Certificate in 1988, after completing a two year residency program at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. Dr. Muller is a 1982 graduate of the State University of New York at Stony Brook, B.A. Chemistry, B.S. Biochemistry, and the State University of New York at Buffalo Dental School, where he earned his D.D.S. degree in 1986. He is a member of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, the Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Connecticut Society of Pediatric Dentists, the Connecticut State Dental Association and the New Haven Dental Association. Dr. Muller is on staff at Yale New Haven Hospital and teaches in the Yale New Haven Hospital Pediatric Dental Training Program. He has an appointment in the Yale Medical School Department of Surgery. Community and Volunteer Dr. Muller volunteers at the Connecticut Mission of Mercy, and has been involved in professional and community programs promoting greater awareness of dental health care issues. His special interest is in providing dental care to special needs patients. Personal When away from work Dr. Muller enjoys biking, hiking, running, gardening and scuba diving. He is a jazz music enthusiast. Dr. Muller and his wife Lisa live in Hamden, CT, and have been married since 1982. They have three children.
