Brief Intro

In 1961, Dr. Owens completed medical school at The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. In 1962, he finished a residency in Internal Medicine at the VA Hospital in Oklahoma City, Okla. before coming to Baylor College of Medicine, where he finished his Dermatology residency in 1965. Academic and Clinical Position Dr. Owens is a clinical associate professor of Dermatology at Baylor College of Medicine. Clinical Interests Dr. Owens interests include Dermatopathology and Photobiology. Publications Dr. Owens has published more than 50 articles in Dermatology journals relating to a variety of subjects about the skin. Professional Associations Dr. Owens is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and American College of Physicians. He is a member of the Texas Dermatological Society, American Society of Dermatopathology and the Dermatology Therapy Association. Hobbies and Special Interests When he’s not caring for patients, Dr. Owens enjoys being with family and participating in numerous activities with them.
