Brief Intro

Dr. Goldstein received his medical degree from Cornell University Medical College in 1957. After surgical training and a fellowship in gynecologic endocrinology, he trained on obstetrics and gynecology at Brigham and Women's Hospital. He completed a fellowship in oncology at the National Cancer Institute specializing in the treatment of endocrine-producing malignancy. Dr. Goldstein joined the faculty at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Harvard Medical School in 1965, where he remains active in the Division of Gynecologic Oncology. After returning from the NIGH, Dr. Goldstein established the New England Trophoblastic Disease Center for the management of patients with molar pregnancy and gestational trophoblastic tumors. In 1973, he established the Division of Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology at Children's Hospital. where he served as Gynecologist-in-Chief until 1987.
