Dr. Donald Lee Bodenner is an Associate Professor in the Department of Geriatrics at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). He is Director of the Thyroid Center and Chief of Endocrine Oncology. Dr. Bodenner earned his medical degree and Ph.D. (Chemistry) from the University of Minnesota. He also completed his internship and residency at the University of Minnesota where he was Chief Resident of Internal Medicine. Dr. Bodenner completed an Endocrinology Fellowship and was a Senior Staff Fellow at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). He is a Diplomat of the National Board of Medical Examiners and is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Endocrinology. Dr. Bodenner is a member of the Endocrine Society, the American Federation of Clinical Research, and the American College of Physicians.
