A Minnesota native and survivor of many sub-zero winters, I came to sunny California after finishing my residency. It is here that I have made a home with my husband, my two boys and my cat. I knew that I wanted to be a doctor after taking a first aid course when I was just a child. I knew that I wanted to be able to make a real difference in people's lives, and practicing medicine gives me that opportunity. I spend my free time volunteering at my children's school, serving on the medical advisory board in our school district, and volunteering in Cub Scouts as a den leader and assistant Cubmaster. I also like to read and cross-stitch.
