Dr. Devanand A. Dominique is a Board Certified and Fellowship trained Neurological Surgeon located in Harrisburg, PA. Dr. Dominique attended The Medical School at University College Dublin. He trained in neurological surgery at Temple University Hospital. He obtained additional training in pediatric neurosurgery , neuro-oncology and epilepsy surgery at The Childrens Hospital-Harvard Medical School. At the University of Toronto, Dr. Dominique completed a combined neurosurgical and orthopaedic/ scoliosis spinal surgery fellowship. For 5 years, Dr. Dominique served as the director of spinal neurosurgery at Temple University Hospital. He was the director of the Temple Neurosurgery spinal surgery fellowship program. Dr. Dominique serves as a surgical educator, and teaches spinal surgical techniques to fully trained and board certified spinal surgeons. Dr. Dominique is a faculty member of the prestigious AO/ASIF Spine Organization and a member of the Complex Spine Study Group. Dr. Dominique teaches spinal surgery principles and techniques on a local, regional, national and international basis. Dr. Dominique has developed, presented and published a novel minimally invasive vertebrectomy and stabilization technique. He has been invited to present his work at national and international meetings. He has been invited to lecture in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, South Korea, Japan, Turkey, Pakistan, India, Malaysia and Singapore. His clinical interests include spinal robotics, minimally invasive surgery, spinal endoscopy, motion preservation surgery, cervical spine surgery and lumbar minimally invasive same day surgery for herniated discs and lumbar stenosis. Dr. Dominique is involved in product development and translational research. Dr. Dominique has been designated a Special Expert with Exceptional Qualifications by the United States Government. In 2007, Dr Dominique was the honored guest of the Korean Spinal Neurosurgical Society, and an invited guest of the Japan Neurosurgical Society. Since 2005, Dr. Dominique has been listed as one of America's Top Physicians and Surgeons. Dr. Dominique is a member of the Spine Committee for the World Federation of Neurosurgical Societies.
