Dr. Derek Kirkham A native of Bountiful, Utah, Dr. Kirkham earned his bachelor's degree at Brigham Young University and his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. He completed a one year general dentistry residency at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, then served two years as a general dentist at Ellsworth Air Force Base near Rapid City, South Dakota. After separating from the Air Force, Dr. Kirkham completed a two year residency in pediatric dentistry at the Children's Hospital in Denver. He is an avid cyclist and competes in triathlons. Dr. Kirkham and his wife, Deanna, enjoy Colorado's outdoor activities with their four children.
