Demetrios Tsiokos, DDS Periodontology Dr. Tsiokos received his Masters of Science in General Dentistry at New York University where he also completed his post-graduate studies in Periodontics and Implantology. Dr. Tsiokos is currently a member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Periodontology, Academy of Osseointegration, New York State Dental Association, and the Northeast Periodontal Association. He is also a Diplomat of the American Academy of Periodontology. In the ever-evolving field of Periodontology and Implantology, it is impossible to know everything, yet Dr. Tsiokos is very vigilant in staying abreast by attending numerous continuing education courses. His goal is not only to know as much as possible about periodontal disease but to understand its causes.
