Dr. Frank received her medical degree from University of Virginia School of Medicine. She then completed her pediatric residency and fellowships in Pediatric Cardiology and Critical Care Medicine at the University of Utah. She is currently an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Utah in the Division of Critical Care Medicine. Dr. Frank’s clinical practice is in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at Primary Children´s Medical Center. Her research focus is on developmental changes in cardiac gene expression and function and developing translational models for evaluation of peri- and post-operative cardiac support strategies.
