Brief Intro

Hi, I'm Dr. David Larsen. I am pleased you found our website and hope you find the information helpful. I am proud of my dental office and how we treat our patients. My goal is to provide quality dental care in a comfortable setting. We accomplish this every day. We appreciate our many patients who are constantly referring friends and family members to our practice. I am fortunate to work with a confident and compassionate staff that have been with me for many years. I received my dental education from the Oregon Health and Sciences University School of Dentistry and graduated in 2003. I had the privilege of taking over Dr. David Summers dental practice shortly thereafter. Dr. Summers practiced in Grand Junction since 1967 prior to his retirement. I work diligently to stay current on all of the latest advancements in dentistry.I am a member of multiple dental study clubs with other dentists. I enjoy dentistry and I enjoy surprising patients with how pleasant going to the dentist can actually be. Besides dentistry, I enjoy spending time with my family. I have five children under the age of 12.Â We enjoy going on trips together.Â Recent excursions have included Mount Rushmore (my son's interest), Teton National Park (my interest), and Hawaii for the national dental convention (my wife's interest).Â Â I also enjoy backpacking and have taken recent hikes to Maroon Bells, Chicago Basin, and Mount Whetterhorn. It's great to live on the Western Slope of Colorado with all the spectacular scenery! I also like to run.Â After years ofÂ jogging around my block, I decided to get more serious about running, I completed my first 26 mile-marathon race this summer. I hope to do a few more races next year.Â Here is a picture of a very tired me crossing the finish line.
