Dr. Swenton received his bachelor of science in Aerospace Engineering from Syracuse University in New York. He worked as an engineer for 10 years prior to medical school. He holds a Doctor of Osteopathic degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine (2002) in Old Westbury, NY. Dr. Swenton completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Columbia University/Bassett Healthcare in Cooperstown, NY. Dr. Swenton believes that prevention is the key to good health, educating patients, and keeping his patients involved in the medical process. He enjoys the outdoors including hiking, cross-country skiing, and cycling.
