Dr. Hatoff grew up in a household headed by a pediatrician and a psychologist. For one year in college he studied economics before returning to the family fold- majoring in biology. Dr. Hatoff studied gastroenterology and internal medicine at University California San Diego and Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. Dr. Hatoff enjoys jogging and tinkering with all things mechanical; this new era is frustrating because we cannot fix a microchip with a wrench (or a kick!). Medicine is a great field because the goal is to find out what is wrong, to do it right and not necessarily to win.
