David is the founding member of Northwood Obstetrics & Gynecology. He received his medical degree from Wayne State University Medical School in Detroit. He did his specialty training and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Butterworth Hospital (now Spectrum) in Grand Rapids. Dr. Wright, who now limits his practice to gynecology, is a certified menopause practitioner and a member of the North American Menopause Society. He and his wife Julie have two children. He is an avid golfer, gardener and excellent cook.
