Dr. David Bandola is a leading interventional spine and pain specialist. He combines advanced interventional/minimally invasive procedures, physical therapy, non-opioid medications and other adjunctive modalities to diagnose and treat various painful spine and musculoskeletal conditions. Dr. Bandola has specialized expertise in advanced interventional procedures – including intradiscal and percutaneous disc techniques, vertebroplasty, implantable devices and spinal cord stimulators.
After obtaining his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Bandola completed his residency in Anesthesiology at Columbia University Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident and also completed a clinical fellowship in interventional pain medicine. During his fellowship, he was a visiting fellow at the world-renowned MD Andersen Cancer Center in Houston, Texas.
Dr. Bandola is a member of the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, the American Society of Anesthesiologists and the American Board of Anesthesiology. He has multiple academic presentations to his credit, has lectured on a wide array of topics and has been published in both peer-reviewed journals and textbooks. In addition, Dr. Bandola was a long-time assistant clinical professor at Columbia University Medical Center.
