Brief Intro

When asked what he loves most about his job, Dr. Sa Leitao said he loves being able to treat patients with debilitating diseases and help them overcome their pain and disabilities. From a young age he witnessed his mom suffer from rheumatoid arthritis and he wanted to provide aid to those like her. His parents were the biggest influences in his life as he pursued his medical degree. He credits them teaching him how hard work and compassion can make a difference to those around you.In his free time, Dr. Sa Leitao enjoys helping coach his children’s soccer team, spending time with family and friends, traveling and watching soccer.I chose to specialize in rheumatology after my mom was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. I saw how rheumatological conditions can affect someone's life and but how proper treatment can give them their life back. I want to help patients take control of their lives with less pain and more mobility.
