Dr. Garrido believes that all successful treatment practices rely on patient-centered care that’s built on attentive listening, a strong doctor-patient relationship, and mutual trust. He’s pleased to serve a population that hasn’t had ready access to advanced, life-saving vascular care in the past. A co-founder of Advanced Vascular & Vein Associates, Dr. Garrido specializes in minimally invasive artery and vein interventions, with a focus on same-day interventions like carotid endarterectomy surgery or angioplasty and stenting. Dr. Garrido previously was in academic surgery as a full-time faculty member of the University of Mississippi Medical Center General Surgery Department in Jackson, Mississippi.
