Daniel R. Karolyi, M.D., Ph.D., is a multi-talented medical professional. He earned degrees in chemistry and mechanical engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology before obtaining his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Karolyi's expertise lies in MRI, with clinical and research interests in chest, abdomen, and pelvis imaging. He currently leads the Body MRI group at Carilion Clinic and serves as Vice Chairman for the Department of Radiology. Dr. Karolyi is actively involved in teaching radiologists globally through the American College of Radiology Education Center Body MR course.
