Daniel J. Steckler, D.M.D. Certified, American Board of Pediatric Dentistry Dr. Danny Steckler is very excited to call Smith and Steckler Pediatric Dentistry home. He started his education at the College of Charleston where he played soccer for the Division I Cougars. He later transferred to the University of Kentucky and completed his degree in Kinesiology in 2001. He completed his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry in 2006. Dr. Steckler went on to complete his post-doctoral training in pediatric dentistry at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center in 2008. He has been a proud member of the Lexington community for over 14 years. Some of Dr. Stecklerâ€™s favorite activities include spending time with his wife Rachel, playing indoor soccer, wakeboarding, UK basketball and football, and playing with his dog, Rocky. Dr. Steckler is Certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. He is a member of numerous organizations including the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association and the Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry.
