Daniel Goldberg, MD is an orthopedic surgeon with fellowship training in sports medicine and shoulder surgery. His clinical interests include arthroscopic treatment of knee, shoulder, and hip conditions as well as shoulder replacements. He specializes in the treatment of shoulder conditions including injuries to the labrum and rotator cuff. He treats a wide array of knee conditions, with particular interest in ACL injuries, meniscus tears, cartilage defects. He completed fellowship in Sports Medicine and Shoulder Surgery at the University of California San Francisco, where he had the opportunity to care for amateur and professional athletes, including serving as a team physician for the San Francisco Giants. Prior to that, he completed residency in Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Hawaii in Honolulu, receiving training in orthopedic trauma, joint replacement and general orthopedics. He graduated cum Laude from Albany Medical College and where he was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. He is moving to the Western Slope with his wife, who is a family medicine physician, and their two young children.
