Dr. McMillan has been practicing medicine in the Greater Augusta Region since 1982. A native of Tampa, he received his undergraduate and Doctorate of Medicine degrees from the University of South Florida. He completed his internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond and moved to Staunton to begin his practice. He became Board Certified in his specialty in 1984. In addition to his love of obstetrics, he has particular interest in reconstructive pelvic surgery and pelvic pain syndromes. Dr. McMillan has two adult daughters and lives in Staunton with his wife and stepson.
