Brief Intro

Dr. Dana Voight joined the Bond Clinic in 1999. He received his B.S. in Genetic and Cell Biology in 1990 and his Doctor of Medicine in 1994 from the University of Minnesota.He completed his general surgical residency in 1999 at the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Wichita. Dr. Voight's practice of general surgery entails all aspects of general surgery, including many of the newest techniques in laparoscopic surgery. He and his staff provide care for both benign and malignant conditions of the abdomen, intestine, breast and thyroid, just to mention some of the most common areas of care. Surgical procedures performed include; appendectomy (removal of the appendix), cholecystectomy (removal of the gallbladder), Nissen fundoplication (anti-reflux surgery), hernia repair, colon or small bowel resection. Most of these procedures can now be done laparoscopically. Dr. Voight is also proficient in the current procedures for benign and malignant breast conditions. He performs breast biopsy, lumpectomy, mastectomy and sentinel node biopsy for staging of breast cancer. Dr. Voight also performs endoscopy and colonoscopy for screening and diagnostic purposes.
