Dr. Bellard is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with sub-specialty training in arthroscopic surgery and sports medicine. He specializes in arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder, elbow, hip and knee, and in reconstructive surgery of the shoulder and knee as well as sports medicine. Dr. Bellard received his medical degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, and then completed an orthopedic surgery residency at the Saint Louis University School of Medicine. Dr. Bellard returned to New Orleans for fellowship training in sports medicine at Ochsner Sports Medicine. He was also a team physician for the New Orleans Saints and the New Orleans Pelicans.
