Dr. Clay Shearer is certified in dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and a member of the Cincinnati Dermatologic Society, Kentucky Dermatologic Society, Northern Kentucky Medical Society, and the Kentucky Medical Association. He is on the medical staff at St. Elizabeth Hospital and is a volunteer physician at the Cincinnati VA hospital. He has been voted by his peers as a Cincinnati Magazine top doctor for 2009 through 2013. He graduated from Transylvania University with a bachelor's degree in Biology and then completed his medical degree at the University of Louisville and then completed his residency in dermatology at the University of Texas/MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. He resides in Northern Kentucky with his wife, Dr. Shelley Shearer, and their three children. He is a member of St. Timothy Parish as well as the Shinkle Society, which helps support the Childrens Home of Northern Kentucky.
