"Fortunately for most infections, there is an effective treatment and often a cure. Listening to the patient aids in a correct diagnosis and choice of therapy. I believe in partnering with the patient to achieve this goal."
I earned my medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, where I also completed my residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in infectious diseases.
I am board certified in internal medicine and infectious diseases. I care for hospital patients at Columbia St. Mary’s Hospital Ozaukee and will see patients at the new Aurora Medical Center in Grafton.
Some of my special interests include resistant infections, Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) and Clostridium (C.) difficile. I have special training in use of advanced techniques for difficult to heal wounds and can also manage infusion therapy for outpatients. In addition, I am fluent in Spanish.
Away from the clinic, I am interested in gardening and habitat restoration, music, reading and cooking.
