Upon earning her medical degree from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, she completed a residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Iowa, and was Chief Cardiology Fellow at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, Washington University. Dr. Fisher is a Distinguished Honor Graduate and Army Reserve Medic of Fort Sam Houston, Texas. She is certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and Vascular Medicine. She is an associate of the American College of Physicians and a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Fisher is starting her tenth year of practice with cardiology at Hays Medical Center. She has performed over 5,000 coronary, peripheral and interventional procedures. She furthermore has implanted more than 1,000 electrical devices including pacemakers, cardiac defibrillators and biventricular pacemakers. her clinical practice in Hays, she provides service to 10 outreach sites in western Kansas.
