Dr. Sea earned his medical degree from University of Texas Medical School at Houston. He completed his Emergency Medicine residency at Charity Hospital in New Orleans and joined the Ochsner emergency staff in 1979. Dr. Sea is a commissioner on the Louisiana Emergency Medical Service Certification Commission appointed by the governor. He is involved in several other EMS committees with the Louisiana EMS Bureau and is a board member and a councilor for Louisiana Chapter of the American College of Emergency Physicians . He teaches Advanced Cardiac Life Support at regional, state, and national levels, and sits on several American Hospital Association committees. Dr. Sea is currently Ochsners ACLS Coordinator and Co-Director for Ochsners Paramedic Offshore Program.
