Dr. Charles Haverty is board certified in both general and child/adolescent psychiatry. Dr. Haverty specializes in treatment of Depression, Anxiety, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, and Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder in child, adolescent, and young adult populations. Dr. Haverty values getting to know the whole person and their support people. He incorporates education into his patient centered approach, empowering families to best help their loved ones. Dr. Haverty strives to create multi modal treatment plans, including lifestyle modifications, medications, and/or therapy like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), as he feels treating mental health from multiple angles leads to the best outcomes. After graduating from Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2019, Dr. Haverty went on to complete residency at Ohio State University and fellowship at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, before returning to the mountains.
In his free time, he enjoys hiking, snowboarding, board games, video games, and playing with his two cats, Koda and Olaf.
