Dr. Charles F. "Chuck" Collin is a native of Luray, Virginia. He Graduated from the University of Virginia with a B.A. in chemistry. He received his medical degree from the Tulane University School of Medicine and completed an Internship in surgery at the University of Virginia Hospital.
After two years as a general medical officer in the U.S. Army, Dr. Collin completed his general surgery training at Emory University Affiliated Hospitals in Atlanta, Georgia. He then served a two-year fellowship in surgical oncology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City.
Dr. Collin’s chief area of interest is in surgical endocrinology, specifically surgery of the thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal glands. He is also an experienced cancer surgeon with specific expertise in cancer of the breast, GI tract, pancreas, skin and soft tissue.
Dr. Collin is Board Certified in General Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is also a member of the Society of Surgical Oncology.
