Areas of significant specialty include interventional, nuclear, preventative electrophysiology and general cadiology. In a large scale, full service cardiology practice such as NOHC, patients have the advantage of a carefully assembled group of colleagues whose skill and experiences compliment one another. Dr. Charles O'Shaughnessy specializes in interventional cardiology. He attended Medical College of Toledo and completed his residency and at Akron University and his fellowship at University Hospitals of Cleveland, Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. Dr. O'Shaughnessy is currently Director of EMH Regional Medical Centers Interventional Laboratory. He is very active in the clinical trial arena and on a yearly average, does over 1,500 coronary intervention procedures and 250 + periperal/renal interventions. Dr. O'Shaughnessy has successfully done 50-60 Aneuryx stenting procedures over the last 2-2 1/2 years with minimal to no complications.
