Dr. Roberts received her Doctor of Medicine degree from the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Baltimore, MD. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine and a fellowship in Endocrinology also at Johns Hopkins. She has a particular interest in diabetes, but treats patients within the full range of endocrine issues.
Dr. Roberts understands that living with diabetes is challenging because it affects everything that patients do - their food, their activity level, and how and when they take their medicines. Because diabetes is with the patient at all times, it is very important for them to know a lot about it so they can make helpful choices and know how to respond when a problem arises.
Dr. Roberts is married with two children; in her leisure time she enjoys cooking, gardening, hiking and ice hockey.
