Meet Dr. Gatta Carmen A. Gatta, DMD Dr. Carmen A. Gatta was born and raised in Schenectady, New York where he also attended Union College, graduating cum laude in 1978 with a Bachelor of Science degree with honors in Biology. He received a doctor of dental medicine degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA in 1981. A general practice dental residency was completed at St. Peterâ€™s Hospital in Albany, NY followed by an oral maxillofacial surgery residency at Nassau County Medical Center in East Meadow, NY. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery with a recertification in 2002. Dr. Gatta has been in practice in Rockland County, New York since 1989, recently relocating to his current private state of the art facility in Suffern in 2005. Dr. Gatta also lives in Suffern with his wife and five children.
