Dr. Schulz graduated from Wartburg College in Waverly, IA in 1982 with a BA in Chemistry and Biology. She then attended and graduated from the University of Iowa College of Medicine in 1986. She completed her family practice residency in 1989 graduating from the Cedar Rapids Family Practice Residency Program. She is board certified in family medicine and earned the Degree of Fellow, American Academy of Family Physicians in 2003. She founded Family Medicine Specialists, PC. in 1990. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband, Roger, and 3 children. Dr Schulz also enjoys attending kids sporting events, sewing, interior decorating, and camping. She is a founding member of the Cedar Rapids Free Medical Clinic. She also teaches confirmation classes at First Lutheran Church.
