Candace A. Mensing, D.D.S. Dr. Candace Mensing grew up in Rochester and knew at an early age that she wanted to work with children. After attending Rochester State Junior College, she received a Bachelor of Science degree, her dental degree and a Master’s degree in Pediatric Dentistry from the University of Minnesota. For a year following graduation Dr. Mensing taught Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Minnesota, before returning to Rochester in 1977 to begin practicing pediatric dentistry. Dr. Mensing enjoys working with glass (stained glass, glass etching and glass painting), long walks, bird watching, music, reading and spending time with family and friends. Her son, Judd, is a student at Iowa State University in Ames.
