Bryan P. Pechous, M.D. has practiced ophthalmology in Dubuque since 1989. Dr. Pechous has a special interest in small incision and refractive cataract surgery. His fellowship training in ophthalmic plastic surgery is unique in the Dubuque area. Dr. Pechous is very active in the medical community. He serves as the Vice-President for Medical Affairs at Finley Hospital. He is a former Board member of the Finley Hospital, the Tri-State IPA and the Iowa Health System.He is a past-president of the Dubuque County Medical Society, the Finley Hospital Medical Staff and the Iowa Academy of Ophthalmology. He currently serves on the Iowa Medical Society Board of Trustees. He is past chair of the Iowa Medical Society delegation to The American Medical Association.
